  i wrote a letter to pz myers about the sparlock vid and asked all of my ex-jw pals to do the same if they had a few moments.

  and he posted about it!.

  pz myers is huge in the skeptic/atheist community, so the vid is spreading to non-jws as well.

  It brought tears to my eyes.....well maybe not but I thought it was great Cedars.

  It's hard to get my head around the fact that this WTS dvd has been out, like, 2 minutes; most Conventions haven't happened yet, and its upcoming release elsewhere has been completely hijacked by numerous, merciless parodies and publicity across the internet

  This is so true Ann. They can't even make a big deal at the assemblies about it. It's already out there being mocked. Those old hucksters in Brooklyn must really be steaming over this. Oh for the good old days before the internet when it was fun to be a cult leader.

  i have been lurking on site for some days and thought i would share my story.. i am a warrior wizard, who has had dealings with a jehovah's witness family.

  reading through the posts here i realise that these people shun those those who have left the organisation, that is very sad.

  i was never even given the chance to become a member.

  Don't worry about it Sparlock you shall have your revenge. Even as we speak a huge army of xjw sanity is mounting in support of you. Crazy momma and her god jehovah (who stands a full 2" shorter than you) shall be defeated!

  i just recently friended someone i knew many years ago.

  they have been disfellowshipped for a number of years.

  i am currently not da'd or df'd so if the elders wanted could they disfellowship me for having a fb df'd friend?.

  Why live in fear of those clowns? If you really feel this person is your friend then why would you consider dumping them to please people that you don't agree with and are the kind of people that will turn on you if you are friends with someone they don't approve of? Life is too short to play this sort of game. Be who you are and take friendship where you find it.

  JW mom makes her son throw away his toy then she TELLS him " you know what I want to do ? Let's go ride bikes ! " Instead of giving the boy a chance by ASKING him if he'd like to go ride bikes, she just arbitrarily says " let's go ride bikes "

  Good point Flipper. It made me wonder why he wouldn't be riding bikes with other children his age. I guess because the mother sees them as "worldly" and won't allow him to associate with them. Wouldn't a child rather ride bikes with children his own age rather than his overly controling religiously fanatic mother?
